Circuit Gem switch didn't make it

Post by caffeinatedsoap » Wed Mar 06, 2019 6:33 pm

Hey folks,

I got a Circuit Gem in the mail recently and was going through the power on, power off stages of testing and my switch broke. Anyone know what switch this is and what all the pins are for on it?

You might have luck rotating it back in to position.. these switches are small, and you should move them with your nail at the BASE of the switch, not the tip to prevent this (hopefully).

The switch can be found by searching "micro slide switch" for example: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/10pcs-M ... 38916.html

Replacing may be a bit tricky, it is def possible though by being careful.. the only important contacts are the ones at the back, the MIDDLE ONE + the one closest to the ON position. Basically when those pins are shorted together, that is the "ON" signal.
