Reversed axes in N64 emulator only

Post by rankar » Mon Mar 11, 2019 11:20 am

am I missing something where the X and Y axes are reversed on my PSP analog using CSO, but only for the N64 emulator? The other simulators I've tried work fine.

Any ideas?

Had the same issue. Look into the config settings for n64 emulator. Was it retroarch.cgf? I am not in front of my gameboy actually but somewhere in the emulator spezific settings file: just swap both axis inputs. -1,+1 to +1,-1 or something like that.

I found what you were talking about but it was in mupen64plus.cfg; does that sound right?

Follow this, but instead toggle the JOY1 Y axis: https://github.com/kiteretro/Circuit-Sw ... -joysticks

Then in ES remap the controller from the menu (probably not needed, but good to do anyway) ..
thanks Kite. i tried this, it didn't work, so I made sure CS code was up to date by running the update. then I tried again and got something like this:

pi@retropie:~ $ sudo service cs-hud stop
pi@retropie:~ $ python Circuit-Sword/cs-configure.py
pi@retropie:~ $

that's it. so I tried to start cs-hud just to see what it would do and got this:

pi@retropie:~ $ sudo service cs-hud start
Failed to start cs-hud.service: Unit cs-hud.service is masked.
pi@retropie:~ $

any ideas kite? thanks again

Powering it off and on again? Does the battery icon show when it comes back up?

I've tried doing a complete system restart a few times now. Battery icon does not come up. And now, when I flip the power switch to OFF, it won't shutdown as normal...

The update failed, I probably need to make it way clearer that it fails and what to do!

If it's not a big deal, could you re-image with the latest version and try the calibration steps as linked before to invert the axis and let me know if anything fails
