Hi, new user here. Have been watching this forums for over a year, and i'm thinking about jumping into the CS Lite when the next preorder batch is open. But my intention is to use it as a GB/GBC-only device, so i can use the original bezel from the GB.

So i made some tests, and if i use a 320x240 3.0" screen i'll be able to play GB/GBC with 1.5x scaling and the image size will fit perfectly with the original bezel. Since some screens use different connectors, i'd want to know if there is any 320x240 3.0" screen compatible with the CS Lite that i can purchase separately, or which specs should i look for when looking for a compatible screen.

A user used a 2.8 inch screen and it apparently fits with the GB screen height, and he used overscan config to shrink the horizontal size to the GB aspect ratio.
It also seems that the CS Lite has a 40 pin connector for the screen, is that right?

Just use the screen that comes with the cs lite. You'll not find a smaller screen with the same connector, or drivers to be plug and play with kites board.

Same deal as what you said. Just use overscan on the 3.5" screen to shrink it to fit an original screen opening.

Is that how you did your GBZs #11 and #14?
I want a screen as close to 2.8" as possible to have a higher pixel density. If i want to play upscaled GB games on stock screen size, every extra pixel counts!

11 was a 3.5 " composite screen with overscan to shrink it.

14 was a 3.2 " spi screen with over scan to shrink it.

A 2.8" ili 9341 spi screen would fit decent though.
