Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
You can use Arduino IDE but the USBasp adapter is the best bet but be sure that you have a compatible OS to use it as some Windows 10 users didn't have luck with the drivers.xfcrowman wrote:Upon further reading, it looks like I will need a ASP to USB adapter to reprogram the board.
@Helder, can you confirm this before I purchase the adapter?

Don't contact me about obtaining my board files (as you will not get them). If my Boards or PCB Kits are sold out, they will be restocked as soon as I can get them and there is demand for them. You can join the mailing list on my Website to be notified when they are available.

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
OK thanks @Helder, I will purchase a USBasp and follow your tutorial. Any opinion about the USB hub problems? I doubt that it's the wiring - I double checked the connections and also twisted data + and - to reduce interference. Thankfully I have one port that works, and in a worst case scenario I can always use the bluetooth on this external port. Of course, I would prefer not to do this if possible...Helder wrote:You can use Arduino IDE but the USBasp adapter is the best bet but be sure that you have a compatible OS to use it as some Windows 10 users didn't have luck with the drivers.xfcrowman wrote:Upon further reading, it looks like I will need a ASP to USB adapter to reprogram the board.

Pictures of that area of the usb holes is needed for me to determine some idea why they aren't working. Also the new Pi Zero W has bluetooth and built-in wifi which should solve all of the hub issues.

Yeah, that's a good point - the bluetooth/wifi issue is moot now with the Pi Zero W.Helder wrote:Pictures of that area of the usb holes is needed for me to determine some idea why they aren't working. Also the new Pi Zero W has bluetooth and built-in wifi which should solve all of the hub issues.
I just ordered one - it will be nice to use in the GBZ

There is a barebones version out now that works but by the time you get it there will likely be a better update.xfcrowman wrote:Yeah, that's a good point - the bluetooth/wifi issue is moot now with the Pi Zero W.Helder wrote:Pictures of that area of the usb holes is needed for me to determine some idea why they aren't working. ALL,
Please see the instructions to get MAME working with this PCB:
MAKE SURE THAT YOU MAP YOUR KEYS CORRECTY IN THE EMULATION STATION UI BEFORE YOU MAKE YOUR EMULATOR SELECTION. IT WILL MAP ALL OF YOUR CURRENT KEYS.

You'll need a keyboard plugged in to select, but select ir-mame4all. It will map your current controller to all arcade game by default. If you google, there's also a way to set buttons up in game, it's a key press keyboard shortcut. I don't remember it off the top of my head.

Hi Guys,
it´s my first GBZ project and at this time I do not have sufficient technical knowledge.
So i have my first "stupid" questions about the AIO 2.2a board.
1. Is there any way to connect the Cartridge-Slot Reader to the use hub?
It would be nice, if I could use the regular PI Cardreader for the Emulators and the "Micro SD Cartridge board with Advanced Filtering" as a extermnal usb device for all my rom sets.
2. Did the v2.2a board support 2 analog Sticks + all Buttons? (A,B,X,Y + L1,L2,R1,R2)

1. If you have a usb SD Card Reader you can connect it to the USB hub but if you're expecting to use external SD Card for storage you will have to read guides on how to do it and also read the roms off of it. The Pi assumes the roms are on the system SD Card but this might be with Retropie but might be different with other Emulator OS.Duke23er wrote:Hi Guys,

2. It supports all those buttons and 2 Analog Sticks using 2 of the 4 extra ADC pads on the back of the board.

Ok, did you think I can use something like this? http://www.pollin.de/shop/dt/MDE2NzcyOT ... S5159.html1. If you have a usb SD Card Reader you can connect it to the USB hub but if you're expecting to use external SD Card for storage you will have to read guides on how to do it and also read the roms off of it. The idea is to remove the card slot and wire the pcb to the Cartridge Slot and the USB Hub.
The Retropie setup for running roms from usb, I found this: https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Se ... -USB-drive
