Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
Are you sure you have everything wired correctly on this new pi zero w? Take pictures of the usb pads on the Zero W so I can see if that's the problem.

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
Having a strange audio issue. Everything works for the sound, but it's constantly skpping, going in and out. I've tried everything short of replacing the pi itself, which is next. I wanted to post up here my wiring just to see if someone sees something I missed, or has a suggestion on something to try. The sound is not only broken in emulators, but also broken in the ES menu when clicking through roms, which leads me to believe its hardware related. Especially since I've tried multiple SD cards. help?
Ive tried 3 different speakers (stock and adafruit)
two potentiometers (b10k, b103)
Wired, rewired sound multiple times
2 different SD cards with multiple fresh retropie installs.
wiring pictures:
and alink to a short video of what it actually sounds like:
thank you.
EDIT: Also replaced the pi. Problem persists. Seems the only thing I haven't changed now is my AIO. Not sure what would cause this problem. The amp?
EDIT 2: Problem is not present when using HDMI out to an external screen and much less apparent when using headphones, but still slightly there. Sometimes experiencing small lag spikes. When the sound lag / skip gets really bad it does cause lag in game as well briefly.
Edit 3: If I disconnect one pot (L or R) from the AIO problem goes away. But then sound is obviously coming from only one side, and it's less audible. Also if I turn the volume way down, like low enough I have to put my ear really close to the speaker to hear, the problem also goes away.

having an issue with multiple button presses (up to 5 for one press) registering in retropie. However in game this problem goes away. Any idea why this might be happening?

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
just to put my two pence in....
it happens to my build, but not constantly (slightly baffling) i've ground the pwm wires aready,
but am gonna change them out to this one (which has more shiedling)

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-Sh ... 0.0.OrdNgy
it could be the board,
or it could be where we have the pi situated, as like yours mine is in the same spot which means pwn0 wire is right above the usb hub and pwn1 wire has power cables overshadowing it or running by it....
its just a theory (gonna change the wiring again and see), but one thing is for certain for me pwn audio isnt the best for these build (my opinion)

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
The 2 resistors labeled 910 to the right of the headphone socket should be changed to a lower value like 75 ohms and see if that fixes the choppyness. The manufacturers messed up and put 10ohms there so I have been manually replacing them with 75ohms but ran out and used the next closest value I had on hand. So changing those to 75ohms might fix the issue as I've not had any other complaints from the 75ohm installs your are the 2nd person who had this issue in this batch so those must be the culprit.jermzz wrote: ↑Sun May 07, 2017 1:56 pmHaving a strange audio issue. I can replace the resistors if you send the board back to me or you can try to swap them yourself and see if that fixes the issue.
Go to the Other Hardware Forum and look at the guide to update the controller firmware using a USBasp, then use the latest hex file located here:docholiday11x wrote: ↑Sun May 07, 2017 3:42 pmhaving an issue with multiple button presses (up to 5 for one press) registering in retropie. This has a better code for buttons and is more responsive so it should fix multi button presses, also are you using an analog stick?

I am also having the same sound issue. I'll look into both the suggested solutions to see if it works.

@helder
Actually after checking, I do show a 75R0 resistor to the right of my headphone jack. Hmmm, got any other suggestions?

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
Hello Helder,
Thank you for your reply.
But I did not quite understand. I tried to isolate the problem. I only connected the powerboost to the board and I still have noise with the headphones
