Without checking to see if you've soldered the USB cables in the right order I would suggest twisting your data cables first. The USB data cables must be tightly twisted or they will suffer from interference.

Plug it into a PC usb socket and don't forget the 5v and GND on the cable you use and see if it shows the usb hub and arduino as a controller. If it doesn't the usb hub chip might be bad.

Hey Helder, I have a v2.2 board with sound issues. When the headphones are in the sound is incredibly loud and when the headphones are out the volume on the speaker is very low, even at max. I was reading through the thread and saw that some resistors may need to be swapped out, is that something you can help me with? I'd be willing to send you the board and compensate you for your time. I just don't lack the skill to replace those resistors yet.

Hey iv wired up the AIO board v2 so the pi can see the controller and the buttons work fine but the usbs that i have wired to the board dont work.

So i soldered a usb on to the incoming data pads and 5v and pluged it in to my pc and windows said it did not recognize it .
Any ideas?

Cheers

Your wiring is wrong somewhere, if it worked in the Pi it should also work on a PC. As mentioned constantly post pictures of your soldering so we can see what could be causing it, it's likely D+ and D- being reversed.

Hi Helder and all,

I might have accidentally damaged the 5 V+ soldering points on the helder v1.4

Is there another alternative to solder the 5 v+?

So on Sunday I fired up one of my GBZ after recharging, this GBZ was sitting idle for almost 2 months.

There is whining noise from the speaker, small whining noise as first then the noise gets louder when the pi finish the boot up process. Haven't make any changes to the pi nor to the sd card that on the pi.

Note that all the buttons work as expected.

Have to open the GBZ and check to see what the problem is.

Hey guys. I've been watching the AIO sale thread since May. Only seen one or two updates. The last was that the boards were in and would be tested in a week or so... looks like that was months ago. Any idea when there will be more available? Did I missue a new sale thread?

Had some free time yesterday and replaced the pwm audio with USB Audio. i.e. just soldered 6 wires.

Not have the time to configure USB Audio and test.

Edit: So it is the Amp on the board has "Blown", connected the speaker direct to the USB sound card and no whining noise.

Edit 2: It is not the amp after all...It is actually the pot (damn those cheap pot).

I'm not sure when I'll revisit the AIO again but if you need one RetroGamingNow is selling slightly older versions of my final board I sold, technically the same though.
