No audio at all (Helder AIO 2.2)

Post by tomsupergreen » Sun Feb 12, 2017 8:06 am

Hey guys, I really need some help for that, trying to fix this for 2 weeks now ...

My projet is based on Helder AIO 2.2. Everything works fine (controls, USB, screen, safe shutdown, batterie charge, ...) EXCEPT AUDIO.

I have no Idea how to solve it.

Here some pictures:

I passed lof of time to check the support thread....I bypass the volume weel...nothing change.
So other people had likely same trouble, but they have audio through headset, not me.

Check my wiring 3 ou 4 times, the weld too.

My troubles:

- no audio throuh the speaker
- weird noise through the headset

Did I missed something ?

2. Why am I not hearing any audio?
a. Ensure you have edited your config file as explained here (also at end of post)
http://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=480

Software End:
Add the following text to the end of /boot/config.txt and reboot your pi

Code: Select all

dtoverlay=pwm-2chan,pin=18,func=2,pin2=13,func2=4

Putainnnnn !!

That's it...so easy, I really missed that. However the sound is not clear but as I read, I have to solder some other resistance.

Still no sound from the speaker, but I didn't wire the volume weel.

Tks man ! You made my day !

Hi man !

I have the same trouble than you.
So you just add the software end on your config.txt file (dtoverlay=pwm-2chan,pin=18,func=2,pin2=13,func2=4) and it worked or you do something else ?

Tu es français peut-être ? on peut en parler par MP si tu veux ? ;)

Thanks !

if the volume wheel doesnt work, maybe thats one of the reasons the "sound is crappy"....

have you tried replacing the volume wheel (you may have a dud)....
also are you actually wiring up the volume wheel properly....

please show some images of your work, this will give a better understanding of what your issues might actually be...
