I just finished the GBZ, following Wermys guide. When I hit the power switch the Blue light turns on on the Powerboost and the screen turns on, then immediatly, it flickers off, and so does the blue light on the powerboost, and then it keeps doing that over and over.
Before I had hooked everything up, i tested just the LCD and the Pi Zero, with power going through the Pi Zero, and both worked fine.
Now with everything connected it just keeps rebooting.
I tried plugging the Battery pack in, and it does the same thing, with our without the battery.
I plugged in microHDMI and the PI boots up just fine to a monitor. With the same USB power cable going through the Micro-B Breakout board. Im guessing the issue then is with the LCD not getting enough power?
Any help would be appreciated.
My screen is the Variant 7 found on this page, https://www.sudomod.com/wiki/index.php?title=GBZ_Screen, and I soldered it using method 2.

its definitely a power issue (or power connections)...
(may even be a weak ground connection)
i would highly recommend connecting the battery to the setup (testing without it doesnt make sense)....
you trying to power a good few things there...
Pi Zero
Screen
Micro Controller (Teensy)
USB Hub
Amp
you may have to strip back to fault find....
as its a bit difficult to see what could be causing it....
if the screen and pi zero worked (assuming the connections are still sound), it might be an idea to look at the powerboost first and work your way around....

Disconnect the powerboost/battery and try powering it with a 5v power adapter directly. If it works ok then you've got issues on the powerboost side.

Re: GBZ rebooting over and over - First Build
I tried powering it directly like you suggested tinkerBOY and it still rebooted. So I took it apart and found out I had the GND and yellow TV cable reversed on the LCD connections, DOH! Soldered them correctly and its working perfect now!
Thanks for the help.
