Variant 2: Simple fan mount
I designed a little bracket which can be used to attach the fan nicely (hopefully  ) to the CM of kites circuit sword. Then fan can be fastened with up to three M1 screws (I used the normal little "phillips head screws" from a 3rd party gameboy shell).
To make it fit, a big part of the game cartridge slot must be removed, and can be covered with a actual game cartridge again.
I received my M1 screws today. By any chance was that supposed to say M1.5? The M1 screws I got are too small for the simple fan mount. On Ali Express I also see M1.2, M1.4, and M1.5 as option. I could order one of those instead. Any recommendation?

Oh, sorry to hear that. Just make the holes smaller but putting some hot glue into it... I also ordered mine from Ali express, there it was written that they are M1...

No problem. I’ll just add the glue. Don’t know why I didn’t think of that.

I have the simple fan mount(variant 2), and the circuit sword. I can not close the case with the fan mount attached due to it hitting the power switch board on the other side. Am I doing something wrong?

Probably not because I believe the version you are using is still untested. There is an iteration here (page 3 I think) that is confirmed to work with the power board bracket, but like he said, the airflow is not ideal.

For anybody using the simple fan bracket and is having issues fitting this fan bracket and the included switch PCB I have modified the STL file to accommodate for the switch PCB. While the airflow it not ideal, I was able to keep the CM3 under 60°C while running N64 Golden Eye so for me its adequate.

File below:
Modified GBZ fan bracket V5.stl

(Obviously this is not my own creation so all credit goes to derebbe for original design)
It is quite different from derebbe's design though, and you have to resize it because it is 10X bigger :D .

If i use the "air duct" how to make these little cables from the fan longer?

Soldering is my last option. Do you have an another idea? I have looked for the connectors, so i can make me an extension cable.
But i am not sure if the 02SUR-32S and BM02B-SURSTF are the right ones....

Have anybody an idea? ;) :)

Edit: I have found a solution for me... :) I have found an old PCB from a TFT. There are all the needet parts on it.
