so far this forum is a huge step forward, but it is not possible to make text links anymore.
Could we get this feature back, please? That would be great.

Hm, just regular hyperlinks aren't working for you? Are you putting them between the [] url tags?
For example:
http://www.google.com

Those work fine, but you are no longer able to put a hyperlink on a word, like you were able on the old wordpress forum plugin.
I hope i was able to communicate well what i mean.

Edit: Could you also try to make Video embedding available, too?
This is a nice method for showing video tutorials and such.

I'm not particularly sure how hard this is, but it would be really cool to also have country flags - it'll be convenient for the buy/sell forum and also show off the diversity of the members in the forum.

But a faster button implementation would speed thngs up, especially when writing long tutorials/guides/blog posts.
