I've got my Gem together and functional, though I don't have my battery, yet.
The first time I boot it up, everything's great. Retropie starts up, I can configure my buttons, the menus do menu-y things. It's great.
Then I turn it off, pushing the Sleep button for a gentle shutdown. Turns off nicely.
But if I try to turn it on again, it gets as far as the kiteretro logo and hangs for eternity.
Thus is every boot until I give the SD card a fresh flash, and the cycle begins anew.
Any thoughts?

Re: Second boot
Another user had this, it was their SD card. Can you try another?

Re: Second boot
I'm sure I have an unused one somewhere around here... I'll try to track another one down in the morning.

Re: Second boot
I can't find the other thread, but it was something to do with the Pi not working with SDXC, but did with SDHC? Does that match with what you are seeing?
