Since a few people (including myself) had some problems on unzipping the image file, I'll list some infos about the file and how to unzip it.

The following information was tested on a Windows 7 system.

ZIP file infos:

• Download link: https://github.com/withgallantry/RetropieFE/releases

• ZIP file: PocketFE-RC-1.0.img.zip

• Size: 1200231924 Bytes (1144 MiB)

• SHA256: 8A535265FAA7F16975EFDBB741D2D0D0436EEE452D8B2FDE924ADA19168FC806

Extracted file infos:

• Extracted file: PocketFE-RC-1.0.img

• Size: 7948206080 Bytes (7580 MiB)

• SHA256: C6E54B50F40DB8B72E726AB927897A39E9BA8425775857D03E423F5FDBA01C7B

If your unzipped file has a different size and/or SHA256 sum, or if you get an error while unzipping the file, I'll recommend to use the latest version of 7-zip (version: 19.00 from 21.02.2019).

For example: I had an older version of 7-zip (version: 16.04 from 04.10.2016), which unzipped with an CRC error. So I recommend to update to the latest version.
