I found this to be the easiest method to getting the proper surround cut out
Just use the standard screen cover as a guide

Good idea. Wish I had seen this before cutting my screen hole, I went flush with the edge Not sure I can use the screen protector now.

My Dremel attachment kit has these tiny little washers that you attach on either side of a cutting disc. I take one of those washers and put it in the indent where the original screenshield was. I roll the washer around the edge of the indent with a fine tipped marker inside the opening of the washer.
