Not a fake just misleading.

Description says it supports resolution from 480x320 to 1920x1080.

Its not a high definition display, however. Your output resolution will be 480x320.

There's a difference between supporting HDMI inputs of 1920x1080 and actually displaying them.

:)

So the number of "physical" pixels is only 153600 (480x320) right?

I also posted this one here a few months back:

https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/ ... 05967.html

I assume nobody tried to use that yet? Especially since nobody shown interest. It has a perfect Game Boy (Color) screen ratio btw (but not pixel perfect, its 7.5x larger in terms of pixels). I also understand that one has its own technical challenges.

Or any other small (2-4") display over hdmi for that matter. But I know they are almost non-existent.

Does any of these say 1509?
If it does, same thing applies as from the other guides.

You can, or I think you can even leave it there, as long as you connect the 5V to it correctly.

edit: 5V to Pin2... GND might not be needed, but if that doesn't work, do GND as well.
