Composite or hdmi to vga adapter?

Post by Enix » Tue Jan 31, 2017 6:27 am

Hello everyone.
So I basically have this screen: http://www.ebay.fr/itm/182101827933
Will it have a better quality if I hook it via the VGA port using and HDMI to VGA adapter?
If so, in this case, would the sound come from the HDMI? I plan on using the Helder's AIO.
Thank you!

The sound will come from whatever it's set to in the RPi.
Composite video can do the 640x480, so I would stick to that for the easiness of it. (Maybe I'm wrong, someone correct me then :) )

The controller board looks large compared to the 3.5 inch screen. Could be difficult to bring all this inside the gameboy housing.

Might be a bit tight, but doable. I've had a bigger board than this :) You can probably trim it a bit (on the left side).
