I think it's because he posted it before you changed something.
If he edits his post, I bet it will work, too.
The database entry is just not being updated.

I didn't change anything after I initially enabled it though. Maybe he accidentally checked "Disable BBCode" or something?

[spoiler="Test Gif"]Image[/spoiler]

[spoiler="Test Jpg"]ImageWhy is this a thing on the internet?[/spoiler]

Edit: Nope, seems to work fine for me with both gifs and jpegs. I didn't change anything. Weird.

Just edited my post and still the same. o.o Definitely did not check disable bbcode.

Test in new post:
[spoiler="Huzzah!"]Image[/spoiler]

Huh...the syntax is the same as far as i can tell. O.o

Testing hand typed with different URL

[spoiler="Huzzah!"]Image[/spoiler]

Super weird. I'm stumped.

One more test with a different-format giphy URL:
[spoiler="Test"]Image[/spoiler]

Edit: Ok, so that is the exact same giphy image as before. The one in this format works: http://i.giphy.com/3o85xzwOcKkOw67ywg.gif

The one in this format does not: https://media.giphy.com/media/3o85xzwOc ... /giphy.gif

No idea why.

Oh so it doesn't spoiler https urls? Edit: Nope not that...

Oh well, it works now and will work for 99% of circumstances i'm sure. No need to spend more time on it than necessary. Thank you!

No problem. But actually I was referring to the i.giphy.com/soemthing.gif vs media.giphy.com/media/something/giphy.gif. I think there's something funky with the latter one, where the former is an actual direct link to the .gif file.

Would be weird but do you think it's the exclamation point could be messing with the syntax?
