LoafSlice GBZ

Post by LoafSlice » Tue May 24, 2016 8:43 pm

So here's what I have so far.

Original DMG-01 case that I bought from an old vet $20

Screen (I've included photos of the seller and what not) but the screen I got from ATianDirect
Under the BW search.
For a total of $24. The only real problem I've had is that it doesn't match a single board on the forum that I've seen, so now I'm at a loss at what to do.
I wouldn't know how to pin anything to anything
Please send help.

Anyway,

The pizero I got from the UK for $14. It got here in a weeks time from there to Norfolk Virginia.

Got a teensy board for some amount of money that I forget now.

I got the buttons from another Nintendo controller that I dissected and found that I can use these cool buttons but have to just dremmel the bottom catches to match the originals

I've ordered a PCB board from @Hedler

And I'm eagerly awaiting a PCB cartridge board from @prerunnerseth

Other than that. Am I missing anything?

The screen is the biggest hurdle I need help with

I'm also planning on ordering a 3ds slider to add a joystick to the bottom left.

Should be fun.

If anyone could possibly email me for personal help with this. Please please please

Getting a Step Drill Bit was AMAZEBALLS. It helped like you couldnt believe, each layer would just fall off like pencil shavings, All that needed was a little sanding love.

IT TOOK me 2 days to get this off, My suggestion is to get a vacuum solder thing and the braid. Youre never going to know which will work for you, I ended up using a combo of both for various things

I've been on the fence about it.

But I finally drilled the holes for my back buttons

Back button covers is indeed a nice idea !
I'm currious to see how you will fix the switches to the case, but I'm sure you'll come with something great :D
