I'm just gonna leave these right here:

http://www.instructables.com/id/Touch-S ... h-Arduino/
This is like 2 minutes of googling so don't rush out and buy anything haha. But I bet we could get something working!

Nice! Had the same idea once, but those are horribly overpriced still. 130€ for one and there are nearly no defective ones around.wermy wrote:One project I'd like to do at somepoint is a Wii U gamepad with a raspberry pi, since it's already got a nice big spot for a screen, great controls, etc. Running android you could play tons of great games that will take advantage of the dual analog sticks and all that.
But you can buy cases and even the screens + touch screen replacements here:

Check ebay for ones with broken screens! They can go for as low as $50. You'd be using a different screen anyway and gutting the internals.Fleder wrote:Nice! Ah that stinks. It would make such a good base for a project like that. Plenty of room inside for lots of battery capacity, full-sized pi, etc.Fleder wrote: Already did, but it seems here in germany they are really seldom

Then maybe I shouldn't point out how awesome it would be to route power and hdmi output through something like this for TV-play:Fleder wrote: Stop it! You make me want to do this right now
