Want to buy Pi Zero W w/out insane shipping cost.

Post by WoodMill » Wed Jul 26, 2017 1:27 pm

Anyone have any ideas where to get a Pi Zero W without paying $10 for shipping? All we have around here is a Frys. They have Pi3's but no zero's.

well, where do you live? (don't give anyone an actual address, but telling us a country and state/city will 'help us help you' ;) )

Sometime before the W version came out, I did a test with all the websites that offered the Zero for sale. A few from here in the states and a few from the UK. Ironically, the cheapest to ship just one $5 Pi Zero came from the UK.

Wish Amazon sold and shipped the Zero.

Yeah, I think that was the cheapest shipping I found back when I was trying to figure it out. Was hoping that there was a place here in the US that would do cheaper/faster shipping.

Do you still need a Pi Zero? I have one I won't be using. I'm in the U.S also.
