I don't mind sharing it (that was my intention doing via the guys thingiverse post)

But he got really emotional and starting accusing me of stealing his design and saying I was a copycat for remixing it :? .... (I don't think he really gets thingiverse)

But I'd rather not get people upset over something petty...

The last thing I want is people coming on sudomod, saying were pinching their designs...
No problem :)

bit weird though... he posts the design for free, on thingiverse, himself, but if someone alters it, he's mad? Erm... newsflash, that's how the thingiverse community works?

OT:
only thing im trying to find now is a better speaker :)

I was taken aback a bit, if I have posted it seperately and not also given credit to him in my description I'm might see where he was coming from...

But sadly the guys a bit deluded, accusing me of stealing and being a copycat was "the pot calling the kettle black"

Anyway....

As for speakers...
I've been testing laptop speakers

I've upgraded my first build with this speaker
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/332310729889

It's a genuine 4ohm 2w speaker, and sound loud and great... Does need some work to fit (but not much)

Might be worth looking at something like this....

Ok, the screen and cable have been ordered :)

so when they get here, i have got all the parts :D

when the weather gets a bit worse.... i'll start on my 2nd build :D

i've also ordered some 3mm bicolour leds to hook up to the BG power supply, for charging status (led will be placed right next to the micro usb port).

Looking very good so far, it looks like full is full lol, there's not much space left in the case, i quite like it to fill it all the way with that stuff. hope you can close the case nicely without adding pressure on it before screwing it together. i'll follow your topic.
Thanks for the share.

this time i am leaving out the cart reader, that gives me some more room. Also the USB audio card can go, because the audio will come from the HDMI screen.
so i think i'll have more room inside this build :D

but we'll see... as soon as the weather gets a bit worse i'll get started wit this build :D

How's life ?
Did you already made some progress ? , i left the cart reader in my build and managed to get everything in there.
I even connected/used all pins of the cart reader for all that stuff..
Main reason everything kept slim&small is the wiring i used, 0.3mm Kynar for almost everything except power and video wiring are regular thickness, though the wires from the volume wheel to the AIO are also 0.3mm
Tested many ways of wiring and routing and it frickin works without interference on the lcd and crisp clear audio, also really LOUD.
If you need some things (like the L+R switches i used, pm me and i'll send you few)

hi!
i have not started my build yet. Mostley due to some private things that had to be done....
i HOPE i can start soon :)

The L &R buttons on this build will be normal soft buttons like the front buttons :)

I think i'm not going to put in the cart reader this time, i have had some doubt about that though..
