Why is my screen doing this.

I got this screen http://www.sudomod.com/wiki/index.php?t ... lux-5v.jpg and did the mod but now I have this snow effect on my screen. I have a thick wire for the video cable so im not sure what I am doing wrong. Did I just get a damaged screen?

hmm, I would check to see if the ribbon cable is properly inserted first. Did you test it before modification? That would help determine if something with the modification has caused the issue.

No I didn't test before the modification I did not have a 12v power supply to power it up with.
