It's me again. I have an idea for a project and I'm going to start it after Christmas. I've started working on the STL files already. The laptop will be (hopefully) using a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B for the brains. I haven't decided on any software. It will feature a 5" touch screen and I'm looking at giving it a laser keyboard. I'm trying to track down a USB trackpad but I'm having no luck. It could feature a small OLED status screen, however, I would need someone to maybe make some scripts for it so that we could have battery life, time and WIFI strength. I won't be able to do the project all by myself so if anyone wants to get involved they are most welcome! This is going to be a build log. A picture of the tin is below.

Re: Oreo Tin Raspberry Pi Laptop Project
If you go touchscreen, you may prefer to go android as for the system. But not all boards can work with android.
I know orange Pi’s do, Raspberry needs some tweaking i think

Re: Oreo Tin Raspberry Pi Laptop Project
Thanks. I haven’t done much research into software. Is it possible to put Windows 10 on Pi?

Re: Oreo Tin Raspberry Pi Laptop Project
There's a couple of Pi alternatives in the wiki that can run Windows or Android:

Re: Oreo Tin Raspberry Pi Laptop Project
Hey Dudes and Ladies! (And the others)
I am putting this project on hold for the time being and focusing on another project called.... The Green Pi...
The Green Pi is a PC that straps to your arm and will never need to be plugged in. It is completely self sufficient!!! It will be powered and charged by (not farts) but by SOLAR (That previous joke wasn’t funny was it).
So join me on that quest!!!
