Nice do you have any info on the "automatic hot-plug HDMI clone" ? Did you use my dpicloner binary? Also where did you find my battery icon script that shows the charging status (lightning bolt icon), I didn't realize I had actually published that somewhere so curious to where you found it :P

Kite,
At the moment I'm using a variation of your OSD python script together with the binary. Don't worry you didn't published the last updates anywhere :D
Since you didn't release the sources of the OSD binary (it actually seems heavely obfuscated too , thumbs up 8-) ) I had to use a bit of creativity...
You really did a great job on that side, I'd really like to add new features to yours (showing other infos, rtc and so on) but at the moment it seems quite impractical, I'll probably have to write my own open-source OSD.

By the other side the HDMI clone scritp is totally open and already on my github, of course:
https://github.com/vascofazza/Retropie-ES-Scripts
I used this for cloning:
https://github.com/vascofazza/gertCloner
I will post some kind of guide(s) on the forum soon.

Where did you get the display breakout? I want to do this for my own build because IMO DPI is the best way to drive these displays. Is it a custom piece?

If someone is interested I published a little guide for display mirroring here: https://sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=4912

I also just finished my own OPEN-SOURCE fabulous OSD (so don't worry @kite):

I will release sources really soon (today or tomorrow) on my github and of course on the forum, just the time to refactor the code a little bit ;)

Been busy altering battery icons, but i like this one. we'll see i meight try it out. but i don't prefer a wifi icon to be honest, but it is good if you forgot to switch it off and helps as a reminder.. Greets

Nice thread ! Very cool additions like the rtc and the osd !
Let us know when you publish your code !

Will you make a complete wiring diagram? And will you share the schematics of the custom pcb’s ?

Thanks a lot
