So.....how about something like.....your GameCube design with that music that transitions into the Nintendo logo with the old school coin grab noise....into kite's logo since it's his saio that is the main component in my system. I'll gladly pay ya like I did the bracketHoolyHoo wrote:It depends how many roms you have installed but usually above 25-30 seconds is a safe bet.avenezia050493 wrote:I guess that's like a famicom thing? My snes was purple and grey colors. Still pretty cool though. How long do they need to be to skip the command screen?HoolyHoo wrote:And another SNES style. Again quick and dirty, lots you could do with these.

I don't know if it fits your needs, but I made a similar animation with the sudomod logo when I was close to finishing my build:pajordan wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2018 12:10 amCould somebody please link me to a download for the simple original gameboy splash screen, like what is shown in this youtube video from wermy?:

Downloads and description are in my GBZ thread. You'll find the animation at the bottom of the first post.

Re: Splash screens?
Sure. The setting is only an entry in a configuration file. After each start a cronjob can change the string.
Or more easy, set config to ~/video.mp4 and replace the video on every start.

Re: Splash screens?
Do you still have the ability to make a splash screen? I've been wanting to get one like the TMNT arcade game. Any ideas?HoolyHoo wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2017 5:37 amHardest part is the idea really. If you try to explain what exactly you want and how long it should be, I can try to make it.avenezia050493 wrote:I honestly don't have a set design in mind. My build is kind of utilitarian. Was hoping to find a splash screen that was kind of like a modern version of the retro boot screens. My snes n64 ps1 ps2 and gamecubes all had amazing splash screens on boot, it's something I miss about retro consoles.
