Joy or just a stick????

Hi all;

Just gathering my parts in the quest of building my first Zero,

Firstly this site is awesome, some really good people.

I’ve never touched a PI ( ) before so yes I’m a virgin. I’ve gained extensive knowledge on what I need and how I’m going to do it thanks to these forums.

One small issue that I can’t find a resolve for, do I need to add a PSP joystick to my build??

I’ll mainly be using SNES/mame on the Zero, how compatible will the joystick be??

Do I or don’t I install a joystick???????

Personally I wouldn't bother with a joystick:
1. If you are doing a Zero build there aren't really any systems that run well enough that require a joystick (the N64 and PS will both struggle a bit on the Zero).
2. For your first build you want to make it as simple as possible.

I’ll keep the Joystick for a Pi3 build.
