Gpio controller with player 2

Post by garthster » Thu Mar 01, 2018 7:59 pm

Hello all,

I have a gpio controller setup with retrogame as a keyboard for my primary GBZ controller.

I want to add a usb paddle as player 2, but I cannot get it to work properly.

They both work in the menus, and then they both act as player one in all games.

Even changing the controller binds in retroarch still lets the gpio controller inputs bleed through.

Any guidance would be apreciated.

I ran this and still ran into the same issue.

Since the GPIO controller is set up as a keyboard emulator it registers as a keyboard and will overrule the other configs. I have yet to find a way around this.

Setting the GPIO controller up as a keyboard makes alot of sense from a single player perspective, but for my builds I need reliable function with a second player as a usb controller.

Does anyone have a way to have a GPIO controller emulate a gamepad instead of a keyboard?
