Looking forward to the outcome! Kinda reminds me of the "Gameboy One Up" concept that pops up every now and then.
Would love to see it on the classic DMG color palette.

Yeah me too. But that would mean I'd have to buy gray resin or a rgb kit to mix my own resin colours. For now I'll stick with black :) Plus I already ordered black glas display lenses. But I could post a rendering with the original colour scheme

It's almost finished. Still waiting for Cambles safe shutdown to measure it out and integrate it into the design

Any concerns about your hand covering the speaker during play? Also, why stick with such a small screen of this could play N64 games—surely you’d want something a bit larger?

I'll do that on my second build. I still got some LQ035NC111 3.5 DPI Panels lying around, but for now I'll gonna stick with the original DMG screensize. The main-reason beeing that I like the originals style and proportions. I thought of using the whole ILI9341 panels screen area, but it wasn't possible to keep the screen centered that way.

I dont think I would cover the speaker during gaming. Just pick up your DMG rotate it 90 degree and pretend it's a PSP. The speaker won't be obscured by your hand.
