Hi guys
Silly question, but here goes nothing: I live in Toronto. I need to get a resistor for one of my gaming projects (cart pi - pi inside a NES cartridge). One thing I want for this project is a power on status LED. I believe I need a 220ohm resistor to make this happen.
My question is this: WHERE THE HECK DOES A PERSON BUY RESISTORS??! What store even sells electronic components in Toronto? Or Canada? Or Nth America? Or just where the heck do you guys buy them?
Any help / input / advise would be greatly appreciated!!

check google, just google electronics shops or something in Toronto, in Saskatoon we have a place called B & E electronics which stocks a lot of that type of stuff. I'm sure there is something similar in Toronto.
Like everyone else mentioned though there are lots of options online. Digikey is nice, because you will get your items next day, but shipping is 8$. Arrow also does overnight shipping for free. But you may get dinged with customs fees, since it's US based (i've only got charged $6 on one order from arrow, all other orders have been fine. But I have heard of people getting dinged with 20+ charges)
Ebay/ali are also great if you don't mind waiting a few weeks to get your components. At least you have a few options, so just choose based on how fast you need them.
