My First GBCM3 *Its FINISHED* Spoilers in first post
Re: My First GBCM3
They didn't even take the time to remove the excess plastic, or the plastic strings. That's bad customer service. You can always smooth it out using sand paper and spray paint it.
I get my high quality 3D prints from HoolyHoo, you can find his items in the For Sale section. https://sudomod.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=38

sure; picture 2 shows the underside of a support area, and the "see through" area is a 0.3MM thick layer which is more of a design issue then a printing issue.
both parts are very small, around 1.4 to 2 cm, and the rough areas are simply support areas which will look that way if supports need to be placed below it. i can reprint and it won't look better.
Not sure how it should look ...
I might consider ordering from here....

this is the issue with 3dHub.....
(and one of the reasons I don't use it anymore)
its a fob off, if ever i saw one.....
to blame the design, without raising any issues with it before proceeding with the order request is NOT acceptable....
also you need to make them aware, that they are not the first person to print this design....
but they are the first person to deliver a below par print
and to say if they print it again (re-print), that the results will be the same (again another fob off)
(they don't want to re-print it)
and that speaks volumes about them rather than the design....
providing you haven't accepted the design within the hub, I'd still argue your case.....
if not....
just clean them up and use them....
once cleaned up a little (there NO need to sand and paint, just clean them up with a pair of snips)
there no need to look elsewhere for another set of prints, they'll work....

Re: My First GBCM3
terrible prints... my $130 printer prints way better than that. I'd expect a professional service to at least use supports... i'd try to get my $$ back or a better product. That's embarrassing for them
Re: My First GBCM3
i did get my money back. all parts are usable except the Back Button Bracket and the LCD Bracket. the pins which should hold the siliconpads arrent the correct size
Re: My First GBCM3
I finally had some time to cut and trim the shell so i did .
didn't drill the holes yet for the X and Y buttons because i have to order a different LCD bracket.
pictures are in the first post.
also bought a GameBoy so i have someting to do while waiting on the orthers parts
