Circuit Sword Power Switch

Post by sherlingj » Mon Feb 25, 2019 9:11 am

Hello,

I'm in the middle of building my first Circuit Sword, and I'm having trouble with the power switch. I can boot the CS by holding the on board power button down, but the power switch does nothing. I've checked all the wiring several times, and everything is plugged in correctly. Using a multimeter, the switch is connecting the PWR and GND pins on the "Analog Back Board". (The mode switch also works correctly, in that it's connecting the MODE and GND pins on the analog board.) I also have the HDMI add-on board, but swapping made no difference. Any ideas? Steps for further troubleshooting?

Hey,

I think you have the FPC cable in the wrong direction.
For the FPC cable, the "blue" ends (left and right) must look upwards.
See the picture below. Could you try that, flipping the FPC cable around?

That was it! I swear I tried both ways. Thanks!
