I am having a similar problem. I am getting hung up on Getty on tty1... mine is not fully build yet, so it is being powered from the pie from a PC USB port. I have attached a few images

Your's is easy... Attach it to the power board and run it from the battery or charging port. It requires the power board to shutdown from either the retropie menu or halls sensor.

Quite a few people have posted here so what part are you talking about? And if the MintyPi is not shutting down because you're powering the pi directly just read up a few massages for the solution.

You shouldn't have a problem with the powerboard unless you were one of the first orders sent out in February but if you got your kit in late April or after that that shouldn't be the issue.

When did you receive your kit?

Yea I got the Dualfets from LilTrublMakr and it didn't make a difference. My controller/pi combo boards still booted and shutdown fine when attached to the power board that was on the kit that Wermy built for me. The other two, not so much. It must have just been a certain batch of power boards or something.

I was in the first batch for v3 pcbs, had to fix my screen and sent my powerboard over to Helder to replace that one part that needed replacing on the powerboard

So you got a powerboard with a wire fix on it? If so send me a PM with your shipping info (don't forget your name too) and I'll send you the new PowerBoards with all fixes applied from factory.
