If you unplug the 3pin cable that goes to the power button, and instead use the little button on the main board to turn it on (you'll need to HOLD the power button for it to boot) does it behave correctly? If so then let me know and I can send you out a new switch board thing (as there is likely a bit of stray solder in/under that switch, perhaps carefully check?)

I also just had the same problem. The wiki really needs to be updated to make it clear that the blue TABS need to face upwards. The picture in the wiki shows the text facing upwards, but for my cable the text faces down as the blue tabs are on the other side. I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out why the power switch was not working until I found this post! I'm happy it was not a fault with the board as I feared!

Edited the wiki to say this, any suggestions for edits just let me know :)
