Pi Will Not Shut Down With Magnet

Hi all,

I just finished putting my V3 Pi together last night. Everything works beautifully except when shut down using the magnet in the screen or by shutting down through the menu, the system restarts automatically. It is running off the battery not usb power, I have reflashed the image multiple times on 2 different sd cards with the issue persisting. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

When did you order your kit? Is the battery charged fully? If it's an early run of the kit's there was an issue with one of the components on the power board but if it's the new versions it should not be an issue.

I ordered with the pre order set you ran in July. Battery may not have been fully charged Ill let it charge up fully.

Are you guys doing updates on the Emulation station/Retropie menu's? I think the updates are messing with the scripts but if you didn't let me know in a PM.
