It's called a Hub Piwi
And it works amazingly well

It lays right on top of the pi zero, has springy pins it connects with, and comes with 4 screws to mount it via corners to keep it together
I'm impressed

After shipping it was around $19

Are you planning on using this in your gbz build then? How does it fit in the case. Was considering it but because they had to be stacked i was a little put off.

I'm thinking about it

They don't necessarily need to be stacked. The pins can be Un-soldered and wires soldered in place, so that it doesn't have to be stacked

And are the ports pre soldered to the board? I might get one to have a little play with

yeah the posts are soldered to the hub, they're springy. so when you press the 2 boards together, they touch. you can take the posts off, by heating them up..and then use wires
