That is very interesting. This is the fist time I've heard about running anything in parralel. I will try it when I get home later tonight and report back.

unfortunately no luck. I think since when you run them in series you dont get the multiplied voltage output, and thus not enough for the powerboost to boost up. If i was running 4 batteries it may have worked, but with 3, even a 2x1 parallel outputs only 2.4v.

yeah, it's not going to work with 3. It would need to be at least 4 at 2x2, and 6 at 2x3 would be preferable though
