Just to create a backup image of the card, corruption issues are frequent, at least for me

Consider converting your retropie image to read only, or switching to Recalbox which it's OS is read-only by default. Read-only helps to prevent SD card corruption, basically prevents it.

Hey Wermy, when your MintyPi2 is ready, will it be available as a kit like Kite did, or more like your other projects where you suggest parts from certain manufactures?

Thanks. I will have some starter-kit type things available. It won't include everything, it'll be more geared towards the shell/buttons. I'm still trying to nail down what exactly I'll be able to provide (the distributer that told me they have a bunch of white buttons available just let me know they actually don't, for example). I'll hopefully get all this squared away soon.

Is there a way to enable/disable the Wifi / Bluetooth via Retropie (with a custom shell script or somesuch?) to save some battery life when it isn't needed?

This is yet another thing on my to-do list.

Well, I was looking to buy two one for myself and one to build for my brother,I wasn't looking to mass produce and over charge.

I'm also looking to build one for me and another as a gift, but with a number of questions coming in about how cheap things will be, I'm sure someone (more than one I'm sure) is looking to cash in. Sorry, I didn't mean to imply you were doing that.

Yeah, that would be great. I'm just looking for the buttons, shell, and other things that only work when paired together, or require a 3D printer. I notice in other threads some posters have already ran into issues with buying the correct screen, and buttons. The kit won't need the sd card, raspberry pi zero, or altoids tin, it would be hard to buy then wrong thing there, ha ha. Plus, I am more than capable of flashing my own sd card with retropie or recalbox, even though obsidianspider seems to think I'm too much of a bottom feeder to do so, at least based on his comment.

I wasn't planning on having any kind of limit, but honestly I haven't really thought about it. If there is a ton of demand for it and one person wants to buy half of the available boards, that obviously doesn't sound fair. I guess we'll just have to play it by ear.
