I read all the pages and now I think I undderstand how this works
I was wondering if it would be possible to address the problem that it's not possible to charge while running (because of the 1A output of the charger) by using charger with bigger output: for example the one that uses TP5100 instead of TP4056. what do you think?

I'm still unsure about the couple of elements you have on the picture on the first page.
I made a version of the image with description, could you please tell me what are the elements marked with "???" ?
I could then make a version with all elements described, and you could put it on the first page to make live easier for the next gereration of builders

Hey banjokazooie, awesome post. I'm in the get-everything-purchased-and-delivered-from-china stage of this build and I've come across a couple issues I hope you can answer:
1. Why use a powerboost 1000 over the 1000c? You gave an answer but I didn't fully understand it. Could you elaborate?
2. I have the same USB dac you have coming in the mail. I was wondering if there was any way to hook up a mic to it? If not, do you know of an easy way to use a mic? I would like to keep the one that came with the shell if possible.
3. Do you know where I could order the female connectors for the joystick? Or even what they are called? I've been looking for weeks now with no luck.

Just like the TP4056 Charger. They also offer "only" 1A. Or can not the TP4056 also use and must go to Adafruit?No you can't use it, it delivers only 1A on the output.

2. There is mic audio input on this sound card.
3. Sourcing parts used by nintendo is not an easy task without part number. I removed them and soldered wires directly to pcb board. I see no reason to used them unless you want to make a custom pcb.
