Poll: How much time did you spend completing your Game Boy Pi vs actually playing it?

Talk about anything and everything... Just be nice.

Wow I didn't see this topic again since I thought I would get email notifications on replies. Yeah I just thought it was interesting, I don't think there is anything wrong with spending more time on building it than playing it... it's the journey that counts. I think I want to at least play through Sonic & Knuckles, FF6, Chrono Trigger on mine. Maybe dragon warrior as well.

I find it hard to believe that the pi zero would have problems with GBA emulation! I know it's not a direct translation when looking at Mhz... but GBA was only 16 Mhz and under 128 kB of RAM! It has to run full speed by now (year 2016) on a 32 bit 1 Ghz processor with 512 MB.

I assumed it had trouble running GBA, if it does at all, because of it being linux emulation or something?

But yeah i can't wait to get some playtime in but i have just been staring at my build for weeks. >-> There are soo many games i have never played (like chrono trigger...ugh i feel like that's a mortal sin since it was made by a gamer's literal dream team of directors!) and games that i miss playing authentically (without an emulation speed button) that i want to play.
