Soft Touch Black Gameboy Advance Thing

Been a few months in the making, but I am now quite happy with the state of my handheld.
More than the required amount of pain was involved putting this one together, but in the end, led to a better outcome.

A mishap with the delivery of my eBay edition Indigo GBA shell led to me replacing it with one of the retrosix ones. The retrosix shell appears to be quite well made, with cutouts for an IPS screen and a more spacious battery compartment. This led to less trimming than an original equivalent.

A school project led to the Raspberry Pi and micro sd card being removed and reformatted, and upon reassembly a week or so later, found out that the backup I created was corrupted. As I wasn't going to be able to just 'plug and play' all my parts together, I decided to put in a 32GB card paired with Raspberry Pi Zero W (instead of a cheap 16GB card and a regular Pi Zero), and actually sort out the ROMs.

The Raspberry Pi Zero was bought for 4 AUD from an 11-year-old (my younger brother), as the micro USB port was non-functional. This was a great investment, as everything was connected via GPIO, and the wifi and Bluetooth capability is far greater than the single micro USB port (for this form factor).

Overall, this was a great exercise and leaves me with a spare Pi Zero + Micro Sd Card for another project I am working on - A redesign of the aforementioned school project (A laser-cut mini arcade)
