JB GBZ take 2
so with number 1 project almost done (waiting on some parts to arrive, if the every do) i have decided to embark with another
i am also buying as may parts as possible from aliexpress to keep things cheap
the plan:
helders 2.2 AIO board
680 x 480 screen
raspberry pi 3
black case (with illuminate buttons possibly)
joystick
glass screen protector
and a few other things as they pop into my head
helder has mentioned the board will be around end of Jan so would like most things in place for when that arrive
so the first parts arrived today
so i have started to desolder the pi3, it might work, it might not. only time will tell

Re: JB GBZ take 2
so a fair bit of progress this week really,
helders AIO board turned up so that had to go in, this is a beautiful thing, hopefully make things easier
the front of the case has been machines and fitted with the buttons, im going for the fully black look on this build which should look awesome
and the rear of the case was fitted up today, i think this is awesome and love the look of it, with the hidden fan and the clear game cart to allow access to the pi3 sd card
so this is how the pi3 sits in the case, i also mounted the power usb and also the switch
the eagle eyed ones will notice the breakout hdmi port connected, this is just a thought all will be reviled at a later stage
and the battery compartment area
there is room in there for a battery but i dont want to block the fan so i need to think a bit about the battery situation
im also waiting for my screen, its in the country and is slowly working it way to me, as soon as that is here i will be able to position the other things and figure out battery etc.
