@kite i bet that has the same level of goodies as the curcuit sword!!!
@rupy i was talking to someone the other day about that little board. it has the same issue that some of the little screen boards have with garbage pixels round the edges

Get a small cheep LCD in your project https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2312
Wrap it all round a battery https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2292
Or use a custom PCB to make it really small https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2512
or make it really really really really tiny!! https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2919

Re: Worlds Smallest Pi Based Gaming Device (possibly)
@kite Ok, neat, I assembled this:
It's not working yet, waiting for 4mm pogo pins instead of soldering pins to the Zero for thin profile.
@moosepr Ok, we'll see it seems to be the same driver that you use for TinyPi right? I'm thinking I will replace the screen with another better one if the SPI connectors are not too different.

Re: Worlds Smallest Pi Based Gaming Device (possibly)
Ah, yes sorry for hijacking the thread @moosepr!
I saw you guys all use some framebuffer software to "mirror" the output from the pi to the SPI connection, looking forward to understanding more about that, I'm looking at building open source software to make new games on these small devices so I'm going to need to understand how these framebuffer tools get the raw data.
So the "garbage" pixels you are both talking about are from software defects and not hardware issues?

Ok, good to know thanks.
I'm impatiently waiting to get the HAT and I can't stop wondering what prevents you from removing the white plastic border from these screens?

Hey Moosepr can you connect a controller to the raspberry pi also do you have access to the mini hdmi port?

you can connect a controller in the usb port (with appropriate adaptor) and the hdmi port is available, however the output is forced to 128x128 to match the screen (it is also flipped too) so that may need to be changed (in config.txt) to make the hdmi more usable
