Hello good people, I haven't tried anything like this and I hope I'm not jumping in way over my head (although that's usually how I like to learn things). I'll probably be perusing these forums for help in a few weeks but I'm hoping I can struggle along with faith and a lot of hot glue.

Here is the majority of my parts list which may be modified depending on how it all shakes out:

We are definitely in the same boat. I just had to buy all my tools and parts. I'm also one of those people who can't buy one thing for $5 when they are also 10 for $9. My plan is to never actually do the math...

Welcome aboard. Good tools are the key to success for your project! I keep upgrading mine little by little and keep telling myself I will never come back ever again where I used to be before =)
