Games are not saving properly?
I have more than enough space but I have to ingame save atleast twice for it to sometimes save my progress. The savestates work as intended but I mainly want to use ingame saving for my games. any tips?

I mean like save points in the game itself like with Mario and Luigi superstar saga you hit the save blocks and save the game like you would if it was a real cartridge.

Re: Games are not saving properly?
Ok. This feature must be supported by the emulator itself. Google your questions with the game name and emulator name to see if it is supported.
If not, there is nothing you can do

from my own experience, that game does have a bit off issues when emulated. Such as randomly hanging with a sound loop this is my biggest issue with this game. Changed emulator (forgot which one sorry) and PAL to NTSCwhich did cut down a lot of the issues but are still present. Still very playable and really fun. In game save states work, but i tend to rely on retroarch for saving.

Re: Games are not saving properly?
It also happened with crash bandicoot. I had to save twice in order for it to actually make a save file in game and not have to use a save state.oliddell wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2017 4:37 amfrom my own experience, that game does have a bit off issues when emulated. Re: Games are not saving properly?
As i have already said, this is an emulator issue and there isn’t much more you can do than cross your fingers for the developers to solve the issue or use save state
