Multiple hotkeys?

Post by pajordan » Sun Nov 26, 2017 9:49 pm

Is it possible to have more than one hotkey defined? Like, in addition to how the default is usually select (so you can press select + start to exit a game), could you also have up be a hotkey so that if you press up + B it's mapped to X, or something like that?

Thanks, I've read through that but I don't see what I was after. Maybe my question was unclear - what I'm wondering is if you can simultaneously have two (or more) inputs act as hotkeys, so in my example above could you have select be a hotkey and in addition have up (or some other input) be another hotkey at the same time, with different combinations. (Ultimately I'm trying to think of a way to map additional buttons to my limited two-button layout.)

From searching online (in places like https://retropie.org.uk/forum/ and https://www.reddit.com/r/RetroPie/) it looks like what I was hoping to do is not possible - it appears that only one hotkey button can be assigned and one button can be mapped to each function.
(One exception is opening the rgui, which I don't care about but figured I'd include here: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/745 ... f-just-1/5)
