USB Audio works on PC, static noise on raspberry
USB Audio works on PC, static noise on raspberry
Hello,
when I connect my Audio with setup (usb dac, amp, speaker) to my PC, it works perfectly. When I connect it to my raspberry, I only hear static noise. I set my sound card as default already.
Anything I could try?

could you show (with images ideally) what your setup is (how you have it wired up)
also when you say "set my sound card as default", what have you actually done.....

It's a little simpler to setup, and is more up to date...

thats a bit strange....
i would suspect it might possibly be your wiring (if you setup the software side of it up)
without actually seeing how you've wired it up that cant be ruled out (actual pics of your setup)
(how are you powering the amp)
(and how is the USB connection to the Pi)
last resort would be.....
to start with a fresh install of Retropie, and try setting up the audio again (but thats a last resort)
(but this would be pointless, if the wiring is still no correct)

Re: USB Audio works on PC, static noise on raspberry
Ok, so I bought a new Raspberry and a new USB Audio card, still I have the same problem. The Audio is connected with an OTG cable to the raspberry's micro usb port;
I just don't know what the problem could be? When I research, I found most people's card say "C-media", mine says "Intel Corp.". I don't know if I maybe need something like driver for that?
Any help is appreciated

Any help? It would help if someone could check what Audio his build has, if it's 'Intel Corp' or something else, also where you bought your USB Audio would help as well
