Aio pcb no game pad detected
So this is my first build. I have the helder 2.2 aio pcb. When I boot it up it says no game pad detected. The USB wires are twisted to the pi. I have tried resoldering the points and even tried switching them with no luck. The weird thing to me is that I have an external usb wired to this board and if I plug a controller into it the pi detects it. Is there some programing that would need to be done? From what I have read it should work right out of the box. I also tried reloading retropie on the sd card more than once. Any insight would be greatly appreciated

Where did you get it? if it was from RetroGamingNow I would contact him and ask for a swap or fix. Other than that plug it into a PC and see if it is detected as a controller, the PC will recognize the HUB and also a controller if not then maybe a reflow of the usb hub chip legs or the atmega (large square chip) might need a reflow or even possible programming but they should be pre-programmed .
