yeah helder i would love for it just to do basic functions like work with kodi and move the cursor on pixle ( basic navigation)

I started wiring things up and my gamepad is not detected. Troubleshooting steps taken so far:

*5V wired from banggood to powerstrip
*Confirmed that D+ is wired to pad 22 and D- is wired to pad 23 on the pi zero
*No shorts between the pads while there is no power
*Reinstalled RetroPie 4.2 on SD card
*Swapped AIO board

I am using the white and green wire out of an old printer cable. The voltage is 5v from the banggood psu.

What am I missing?

I'll let you know what I've tried. I wired up a usb port to the input and my computer recognized it as an Arduino Leonardo Game controller which seemed promising. I checked continuity on the resistors you mentioned to someone else having issues and those checked out fine as well.
The problem I think is that your power supply is outputting too much current at a time since my board has a resetable fuse that will trigger if there is a huge influx of current and will kill power to the onboard chips. What power supply are you using and how do you have it wired? does it have a battery attached?

Also when the controller stops working check the 5v points at the top of the board and see if there is power, if the fuse tripped then there should be no power at the USB 5v points.

another question, is there anyway to use the aio board outside retopi perhaps for kodi or as a curser or pixle ?
If you can use a game controller as a way to move the interface it in those apps then it should work fine but if those expect a keyboard then it won't unless you reprogram it for a keyboard.
Oh, that makes sense. I'm using the CanaKit 5V 2.5a power supply which is what I was previously powering my pi 3 with.

Everything is wired up like your diagram, only i'm using a pi 3 instead of a zero. I have the adafruit powerboost going to the power supply on the aio board, then i have a 5v/ground going out to my screen and my pi 3 from the aio. I don't currently have the battery attached though. I'll try your recommendations in the morning and see if that fuse is what's tripping. If it is, I have a slight smaller power supply i'm using for my pi 2 that I can try. It's a 5v 2a. I can also try powering from just the battery as well. I appreciate the help. I'll let you know how it goes.
Must have damaged the USB hub on my pi 3 when I removed the ports. Wired the board up to a zero and everything works like a dream. Thanks for the input though. Helped me trace down that the pi was the actual issue. We're in business now!

Best bet is to plug the board into the PC as I mentioned in the last page for another user and see if the PC detects the usb hub and Arduino Game Controller. Once that has been checked out let me know and we can take it from there.

Hi guys, first I apologize my translated english!

I got my All in One Board from Helder on Tuesday, everything wired and I am now 2 days on the error search. I almost despair.

I have 3 SanDisk Ultra Class 10 MicroSD cards with 32GB to Test with The Raspberry Pi Zero 1.3. At 2 I get the error as seen in the picture and with the other the Pi boots to a certain point and then breaks off, as it issues error messages.

I hope someone can tell me what the whole thing can be related.
I have all testpads connected to the Nintendo DS Lite Reader and have the Prerunners Card. (I have soldered all test pads and the connection to the card Reader two Times - WITHOUT Measuring with a Multimeter)

However, the pi can not start over the normal Micro SD card slot. I have to resolder the test pads to test the Pi with the normal Micro SD Card Slot?

Best regards
Marcus
I don't think this has anything to do with my board and is likely your SD card with the PRS cart. Try putting the SD card in the Pi itself not using the PRS cart to see if the system boots normally and also remove the PRS cart when you do this in case your wiring isn't correct since you didn't use a multimeter to test anything yet.

Also look at your soldering especially the parts I circled below, the USB wires look like they are touching and one of them is grounded.

Helder all I have to do if my point got burnt off is find the lead and add some soldered to the resister ?
Yes just have a look at the first post for alternate points to the pads.

You'll need to reprogram the controller as a keyboard to probably make it work.

Alright my first board is showing up and arduino leonardo.

I have also swapped out the psu. I am powering the pi by one 1 amp/5v supply and the screen and the aio board by another. When That did not work I swapped out the pi. I get the same result. I have reburned the sd card several times. I am using the 4.2 image from the retropie site.

In the test screen in windows 10 I am also showing button presses.

Just for the heck of it I simplified everything. I hooked the aio board up to the usb port on a pi zero w, power out to a 1 amp wall adapter and hdmi out on the pi. I still get the no game pads detected. This is essentially the same hookup as the PC that does see the arduino chip. I guess I will see if I can track down an older build of retropie and see if that changes anything.

Also be sure to have all GND and 5V connected in some way as this could be breaking the power circuit. Show pictures of your setup.

Currently I have the green and white of a female USB cable wired to the 2 main data pins on the center of the aio. I have the red and black hooked up to the main power strip of the aio. It seems to work fine like that on the PC. It does not work on the pi zero. I will see if I can get some pics in an a couple hours.
