New members, introduce yourself!
Re: New members, introduce yourself!
My wiring diagrams and schematics for Helder's boards and graceful shutdowns.

I did that. It still doesn't work as I think it should.a3k4 wrote:You need to register an account before you can chat.Merlin04 wrote:The link doesn't work. I haven't been active for a while. I periodically check the forum and blog for interesting projects, but don't post very much.

Hello,
my name is Daniel, I´m from germany and IT specialist (system integration).
I like projects that are just for fun or do look cool (like my full watercooled computer ).
I found Wermy on Youtube and now i wait for my AIO board

Had the same problem, you have to add the server first.Merlin04 wrote:I did that. It still doesn't work as I think it should.a3k4 wrote:You need to register an account before you can chat.Merlin04 wrote: The link doesn't work. It doesn't pull up a thing where you can chat.

Re: New members, introduce yourself!
Hi guys, just new here so i think it's time to introduce myself. I am Dountill, from the Netherlands. Have a little experience with domotica, custom builds, arduino and such. To build a handheld console was always a plan of mine, so when i found out this big community i was really getting excited!
I work as a webdeveloper and also have some good experience with Photoshop etc. My latest build was an old (broken) tube radio I transformed to a bluetooth radio. If you like, you can read more on Instructables.
Please contact me if you have any questions, or if you are Dutch, and have some good resources to share!

Welcome @Dountill !!
another dutchy
if you need some small parts (that you can only buy in bulk), let me know....
i have "to much" of:
- tactile switches
- on / off switcch
- volume pot
i can also print the 3d button wells and screw posts that you can position on the screen in PLA.
i am working on mine, so i dont know 100% if the small parts ar ok to use, but i bought them after research here
Also, the pla button wells work perfect, i know that, but the screw post/screen bracket is yet to be tested
check out my thread if you want to know if the stuff i have works

Re: New members, introduce yourself!
Hello everyone
My name is Jeremy. I saw a Dingoo retrofitted into a DMG ages ago and finally have time to make my own....
Then i found you guys. Just wow, you guys are epic. I've read forums forever but this is the first I ever joined and wanted to contribute to.
I am planning on a GBZ with Snes buttons as an Arcade Museum for all the kids in my family.
My background covers the games industry, vaping mods (I'm pretty good with battery stuff), electronics (used to make FM radio 'bugs') and lot's of build projects in regards to magnetic water.
If there is anything i can do to help, please let me know
Happy modding.

Wish not to be anyone but whom you are, for when you do, you will wish for nothing
Re: New members, introduce yourself!
Hey everyone!
About two months ago I was watching random videos trying to get some ideas for case mods and came across a fateful GBZ tutorial. Been lurking the boards ever since. I have an RP3 and a NanoPi NEO that have been aching to be used in a project and I'm now gathering materials for my own GBZ.
I'm looking forward to this project as it'll be the most involved I've tackled. And of course, it just looks way more fun than the usual emulation boxes I make.
