Thank you. It's a shame they don't go down to 3.3v but that's the best one I've seen pre-made so far.

Hmm, the link is correct, the description is altered!

Damn....

Back to the webz in search for a correct indicator for a normal price (and small enough)

I've ordered a few of the ones you mentioned as they're better than nothing. It's best to recharge at 3.7v anyway so it's not a big issue, as long as when the board is saying 3.7v... it actually means 3.7v. Will test with a multimeter when I get them. I'm still thankful you told me though, they look nice and small and easy to hook up.

Edit: Just seen some images from someone who bought one via aliexpress and they show the red led brightly lit @3.5v which should be perfect. Hope they don't take too long to arrive.

Edit 2: The values on the aliexpress page are wrong. Should say 20% instead of 2% for red led. This is apparently the manufacturer's site:

Hobbyking has a decent 1 cell lipo alarm.
This has a buzzer though. It could work, it wil beep if the lipo gets below a certain voltage.

I saw the hobbyking one but in the comments there's a few mentions of swapped wires. I know you could just swap it over yourself but any time anything power related has the 'wrong' colour coded wires I'll avoid them. I stick with red being positive.

I still think the one you have is the best. I'm planning to use it with some fibre optics when I get mine.

I have used the hobbyking beeper on a small quad i had, and it worked.
But the one i have now at least gives some visual indication of the power....

i'll wait for the safe shutdown board for the banggood power supply, that should have low batt indication ;)

Ordered a wifi usb adapter this weekend... just to make some stuff a lot easier for me :P

as soon as its here, i'll proceed to setting up the whole thing:

- setup wifi
- setup overscan
- setup usb audio
- setup ES text size
- setup command line text size (so i won't need a TV every time i want to set something up ;) )
- transfer roms
- "hide" emulators i won't use

oh, and i'll have to stick the screenprotector on from @dominator :D i'll save that for last to avoid scratches ;) lol

and then it's finally time to play!

i am also making a list to see what this GBZ has cost me, and what a new one would cost using all custom parts....
and then i'll decide if i'll make one for my "little" brother :)

Ok, i had some time today to muck around with the gbz.

I first wanted to setup usb audio... But the usb device does not show up in de lusb list :(
So i hope its a bad solder joint.

Ok... So no sound... Ill fix that later

So i went on to the wifi.
Dongle works, but i cant get it to connect to my network :(
I started a new topic for that problem

I hqve transfered nes roms via usb, but if i play a nes game it looks fuzzy and out of focus...
