I would actually be interested in one of these, but it looks like the ones off kitsch-bent have a boarder around them limiting the viewing of the screen?
I ordered one from Kirch Bent and I am waiting to see what it looks like. They have the DMG clear no adhesive version in the drop down selection. I emailed kirch bent before placing the order and he confirmed that they have no border, are flat on both sides, and no adhesive if I choose. So based on this it should work but I'll update once I receive it.
Yup, I also got an email response from them and they said the same thing. I believe I will order one as well.

I received the screen covers from Kirch Bent in the mail today. They seem to fit perfectly in the space and look thin enough. Should work for what we need. I'm just hoping they lay flush with the case when I'm done.

I am curious on what you are trying to describe here. Do you have a picture or drawing as an example?

Right now, I have my backup camera screen protection screen instead (that I cut). I may just leave that as is and on my second GBz, I will keep more of a bezel so I can install a clear screen.

They are plastic. They arrived with a plastic film so I haven't peeled the film to see how durable they are. I will most likely add a cell phone screen protector on it to prevent major scratches.

They do sell Glass as well but they do not have a clear one, only in the plastic version.

I think what he is describing is that you use the plastic to create a new lip for the screen protector to sit on. I am at the hospital so I don't have access to illustration programs, but the idea is that your screen protector is the very top plane (using geometry lingo), and the solution is to take a piece of plastic and glue it to the plane underneath for the bezel to now sit on, sort of like the way the tiny pegs support a bookshelf.

Hopefully, that helps, and hopefully, he corrects me if I strayed from his idea.

yup. no graphics/colors/text/border/etc..... just cut out to the shape required

if there is enough demand, i will have them made in glass as well. just shoot me a PM and let me know if you'd be interested in this... if I get enough messages, I'll do them!

that is generally how things work... if i get enough requests, i do it. having done this for so long, its generally just the push of a button to do things (manufacturers, who do a good job, are lined up already), but I usually need to know there will be interested people. so, just get in touch and let me know :)
its full of Game Boy Zero stuff!!! -----> -----> -----> http://store.kitsch-bent.com

You mean glass instead of the plastic that it's already made of? Would that be harder to scratch and harder to leave fingerprints on?

yes, i'm happy to do a run of glass ones if there is interest. and offer those in addition to the plastic ones that are already on the website

yeah, they are harder to scratch. i think fingerprints stay on both about the same, i don't see much of a difference myself, but a lot of people have told me the glass doesn't show as bad. i guess i'm just particular......
